Backstory Books & Yarn is a woman-owned shop on Hawthorne Boulevard that buys, sells and trades books and yarn, with specialties such as textiles, nautical titles and Black history. It began in 2014 in Foster-Powell and moved in 2018 into the old Hawthorne Boulevard Books space.
